Traveling far and wide across the vast intercontinental expanse, skateboarding, on it’s perpetual road to radical, somehow rolled itself into the dusty sands of Arabia. Although we’re still working on figuring out just how it happened, the cultural exchange that has consequently taken place over the past decades of good old wood pushing in the region has spawned a different breed of skater – one who lives in an environment unique to the rest of the world. Yet the brotherhood that ties it all together is seemingly unconditional. Skate Arabia was established with an aim seeking to document the various moments that take place, of the people who make it what it is by sharing it to the diverse community of skateboarders in the region. Perhaps even, but not necessarily with intention, Middle Eastern skateboarding may find some space on the global platform as well. Most importantly – our goal is to, with the best of our abilities, help depict a true picture of skateboarding within the Middle East.
